I was raised on a mixed musical diet of Israeli popular music, British & American rock, and classical music.
This led me down the path to discovering the great progressive rock bands of the 1960s and 1970s who incorporated classical elements into their contemporary sound. Inspired to do the same in my own music career, I went on to earn a degree in classical singing.
Compelled to find ways of combining my diverse musical influences with my classical training, I’ve always wanted to put unique twists on widely beloved pieces of music, and this ultimately led me to create these crossover shows.
Seen worldwide on America’s Got Talent season 15, VOCE NOVA is a unique and fully customizable musical experience that brings together the luxury of classical singing and the excitement of contemporary and classic pop music in high energy performances!
In this act I join forces with co-producer and outstanding performer Natalia Tsvi, another classically-trained crossover singer, to bring a one-of-a-kind WOW factor to corporate events, fundraisers, galas, high end weddings and private parties, and more. We have over 40 years of combined on-stage experience singing varying genres and languages, and we both have the ability to engage audiences at a level that few operatic singers can achieve.
In this concert concept, I blend these two seemingly disparate genres of music into an exhilarating and vocally impressive performance. Comprised of some of New York City’s finest rock players, the OPROCK band plays alongside the nation’s most accomplished classical musicians, and with orchestras worldwide.
